Only download MLV modules from this page. If you find any software or module that is not linked from our main website, it is probably dated. Treat those files as altered or pirated; they may even contain spyware.

The MLV is free in every program. If anyone charges you for it, please let us know.

Installing the e-Sword modules

  1. Download the .zip file(s) above and unzip them.
  2. Close e-Sword.
  3. Copy the module files from inside the .zip into your e-Sword module folder. For e-Sword v15 on a PC, that is the hidden folder C:\ProgramData\e-Sword.
  4. Restart e-Sword. The MLV appears in the Bible tabs and the MLVDC in the Dictionary tabs.

Using the MLV Dictionary

  1. Turn on the Dictionary Topic (open book icon) and the Linker (chain icon).
  2. Click a word in the MLV to see its concordance entry. CTRL + click the blue G-number to see the Greek lexicon and Greek concordance.
  3. Read the _Definitions, _DIRECTIONS and _Info topics at the top of the dictionary first.
