G4532b

Σαλίμ
Betacode: *SALI/M
Part of Speech: {N-PRI}
MLV/Definition: [NOT IN BYZ. TEXTFORM.]
(Salim -- place near Aenon, Joh 3:23)
Etymology: {H8004}
Note: transliteration of Hebrew שָׁלֵם (shalem, "whole, at peace") -- same root as shalom, Salem, Jerusalem, Solomon. FLAG: K2/W already has a separate G4532 row (Σαλήμ, "Salem," Melchizedek's city, Heb 7:1-2) whose live page currently shows "KJV: Salem 2 / TR: 2" and, confusingly, an internal "MLV/Definition: Salim*" label that doesn't match its own Greek word/betacode (Σαλήμ = Salem, not Salim). Joh 3:23 (this entry, the Aenon place-name) does not appear to be counted in either page's live occurrence total -- worth confirming directly against your K6/RP2018 source rather than trusting either count as-is. Possible orthographic/itacism variant (αι/ει/ι) rather than a substantive Alexandrian-vs-Byzantine split -- the place itself isn't disputed, only its spelling. This page did not previously exist in W/ -- created 2026-08-04 from the K2 lexicon row.
No compounds.

^ — This English word is also used for other Greek words built from the same root (related "family" words).

^^ — This English word is shared by two or more different Greek words that are synonyms (not just related family words).

~ — This English word is not uniform. Either it's a small helper word (like "be" or "have" or "ultimately"), or English simply doesn't have enough separate words to match the Greek exactly.
