G2411b
ἡερόθυτόν
Betacode: I(ERO/QUTO/N
Part of Speech: {A-NSN}
MLV/Definition: [NOT IN BYZ. TEXTFORM.]
{sacrificed, reverent}
Etymology: {
G2413 +
G2380}
Note: compound of G2413 (ἱερός, "sacred") + G2380 (θύω, "to sacrifice") -- lit. "sacred-slain." Fixed 2026-08-04: prior etymology code read {G2413 + G4241}, but G4241 = "suitable" (πρέπω), unrelated to sacrifice -- mis-key. Confirmed minority/Alexandrian reading (א A B, Peshitta) vs. Byzantine εἰδωλόθυτον (G1494), which MLV correctly uses at 1Co 10:28. Minority text -- zero occurrences on both sides is expected. .
