This sets up the MLV and the MLVDC+G dictionary as default so you can determine what is the Greek word underlying most of the MLV English word(s) with a concordance, Greek concordance & Greek Lexicon and the alpha version of the Analytical Concordance.
1. Click the "Tip of the Day" pop up and read thru, remove check mark so it will not show again, whatever you
would like to do with this. (1.jpg)
2. Click on the little "Push Pin" on the Commentaries window. (2.jpg)
3. Click on the little "Push Pin" on the Editors windows (3.jpg)
4. Now that we have a clean e-Sword desktop, go to the toolbar then "Options" then remove the check mark on "Bookmark Navigator" (4.jpg)
5. Again toolbar then "Options" click on "Scripture Tooltip" and in the drop down boxes pick Modern Literal Version (NT). "A Conservative Version" (OT). Click OK. (5.jpg)

8. Click on the MLVDC+G tab on the Dictionaries windows. (8.jpg)
9. Now click on any word in the Modern Literal Version (begotten in John 3:16 was chosen). (9.jpg)
10. The concordance entries of all the places "begotten" occurs in the Modern Literal Version in now in the Dictionaries window. (10.jpg)
11. Highlight any reference (green) and you see a quick pop-up of the reference. Click to actually go to that reference. (11.jpg)
12. Now hold down the "Ctrl" key on the keyboard and click G3439 (blue). You now have the lexicon and Greek concordance of monogenes. (12.jpg)
13. There is a little blue arrow for navigating back to previous page (upper left corner of the Dictionaries window; English concordance of begotten). (13.jpg)
14. Or you can go hold down the "Ctrl" key and click any word in the Dictionaries window to go to that word. Here G1096 a base word of G3439 was chosen. (14.jpg)
15. There is a little box on the upper right currently with G1096 in it. You can lookup any word in the MLV and lots of the Greek coding used in the Greek Bibles just by typing it in there. (15.jpg)
So if you had clicked on every verse and looked at the Greek you just did the ultimate word study of "begotten" in less than 5 minutes. No other bible program with any other translation can say that, especially not for FREE!
